The presentation is posted partially.
The posted parts are translated into English specially for demonstration purposes. The images contain gif-animations, which are not translated, though.
This work is an ode to one of the most striking images of Central Europe: its diverse urban transport. Using the example of three major cities of the region - Budapest, Prague and Warsaw - I explore how urban electric transit networks have changed over 60 years. I spent a long time working passionately with archival materials from the Russian State Library, converting maps into graphs and observing their topological dynamics.
You can view the full thesis materials: they contain even more animations and a full set of raster transit maps (in Russian).
